Matthew, his ice cream and Whisper! GOOD KIDS!
We've been working hard on the pupy room (cute *little* pups eh?) and since they decided they wanted to chew on the drywall, we immediately decided to nip that habit and cover the walls with wood. We will be painting the boards, too. we started on that tonight.
We are still trying to decide if we will put smooth wood bottoms in their crates as they destroyed their "plastic trays" that came with them. Of course, they always have fresh blankets but I thought perhaps some smooth wooden bottoms for them? I also keep cardboard underneath them to keep their food from getting on the floor. Even though we haven't figured out how we want to do their floor yet!! So many things to do and so many ideas to come up with.....I used to put cardboard between the crates (for privacy) but they pulled it out and shredded it up..... then they start on the ones underneath. Of course we have to replace them all the time...... I finally clipped the crates all together as they keep rearranging them every day! They have so many toys to play with but apparently the crates are more fun?
We considered switching to the airline crate style but they cost a fortune! They only use the crates to sleep in at night (and only 4 of the 5 sleep in them) and they go in them for eating. here's our progress so far!
Here's MaGee (bottom) and his sister Ziva resting her head on him. It's afternoon nap time (AGAIN!) They already pulled all the clean blankets out of the crates (Jethro helped of course) & must have worn themselves out :-) Life is GOOD!
They're so cute. lol
ReplyDeleteVegas gets to sleep on my king-size bed and I cover 3/4 of the bed with her blanket so, in theory, I can just wash her blanket more often. Yeah, well, she has to remake the bed too and prefers to sleep on my blanket. Go figure. Silly pooches.
