We co-own several horses, Alpacas and Llamas with a very close and wonderful family friend of ours.
Meet our newest additions that finally arrived to our farms....
Meet our newest additions that finally arrived to our farms....
She's such a lovely girl, halter trained and leads. She is friendly and we are looking forward to shearing her and all our newest additions!
Also arriving with her was two lovely Alpacas. A Fawn and a White. Did I say how much I want to shear them?!
Our lovely new male Llama. He is really SWEET! Very friendly and his co-owner is truly enjoying him. His colour is more impressive in real life, this photo doesn't do him justice. I will be going to her house to shear all our animals we co-own as well as her sheep this summer... FUN!
Here's two more of our Huacaya Alpacas.
And then we have a stunning Suri Alpaca!!! Isn't he just fabulous?!
MEET "STANLEY"!
He's our sweet little boy born to one of our rescue llama mums. Both are doing incredible. Mum was one of the girls in the worst health upon arrival and so far both mum and cria are just doing wonderful!
SPRING IS HERE!
For those who don't know, when we bought our acreage, the prior owners left it in a horrible mess! There were appliances everywhere, loads and loads of junk, buildings collapsed...... We've taken our 12th load since we moved here, to the dump yesterday now that the weather has broke and 2 loads of appliances to recycle. We have another dump load filled in the truck for the next day the dump is open (and these are FULL sized F250 loads!)....another recycle load as well and several loads of usable windows we gave to a friend down the road. A huge stack, a few truck loads of wood, to another friend and a bunch of metal roofing... All should be loaded out this week! What a blessing.
